This role involves engaging with potential vehicle buyers to understand their requirements and guiding them through the entire purchasing journey. The focus is on driving retail volumes through proactive lead generation and delivering a premium showroom experience while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle walk-in customers at the showroom and provide comprehensive product demonstrations and feature explanations.
- Conduct field visits, cold calling, and local marketing activities to generate a consistent pipeline of new leads.
- Schedule and execute vehicle test drives for prospective customers while adhering to safety and documentation protocols.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process including booking, documentation for finance/insurance, and final vehicle delivery.
- Maintain accurate and real-time records of all customer interactions and lead statuses in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Collaborate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) team to provide customers with suitable loan and insurance options.
- Participate in outdoor promotional events, corporate displays, and roadshows to increase brand visibility.
- Follow up with existing customers for referrals and ensure a smooth post-sales transition to the service department.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., etc.) or 12th pass with relevant sales experience.
- Valid two-wheeler and four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
- Proficiency in the local language and functional knowledge of English.
- Willingness to work 6 days a week, including weekends, in a high-pressure retail environment.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for operating CRM software and MS Office.
Preferred
- Previous experience in automotive sales or the retail/hospitality sector.
- Knowledge of local territory and customer demographics.
- Basic understanding of vehicle financing and RTO registration processes.
