This role focuses on driving vehicle sales by identifying potential customers and guiding them through the complete purchasing journey within a high-energy showroom environment. It involves conducting professional product demonstrations, managing inquiries through the dealer management system, and ensuring a seamless delivery experience to build long-term brand loyalty.
Manage showroom walk-ins and convert inquiries into bookings through effective product presentations and need analysis.
Conduct professional test drives for prospective customers while explaining technical features, safety standards, and USPs.
Maintain accurate and real-time records of all customer interactions and follow-ups in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
Coordinate with the Finance and Insurance teams to facilitate loan approvals and insurance policy issuance for customers.
Execute the vehicle delivery process, including documentation, PDI coordination, and customer briefing on service schedules.
Generate prospective leads through outdoor marketing activities, corporate presentations, and local community events.
Ensure timely follow-ups on lost or cold leads to maximize conversion opportunities.
Maintain high standards of showroom floor discipline and vehicle display aesthetics.
Excellent communication skills in the local language and functional English.
Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license and a personal vehicle for field visits.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customer segments.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
Basic computer literacy for data entry and lead management.
Availability to work 6 days a week, including weekends and public holidays.
Prior experience in automotive sales or high-value retail environments.
Valid four-wheeler driving license for conducting customer test drives.
Existing knowledge of automotive financing and insurance processes.
DMS (Dealer Management System) Proficiency, Automotive Product Knowledge, Lead Management Software, Basic MS Office
Persuasion and Negotiation, Active Listening, Customer Relationship Management, Time Management, Conflict Resolution
Education: Graduate in any discipline (12th pass with relevant experience may be considered)
Experience: 0 to 2 years in Sales, Retail, or Customer Service roles
Certifications: OEM Sales Certification (preferred), Test Drive Certification (provided upon joining)
Professional showroom setting with frequent local travel for customer visits and outdoor marketing activities. Operates on a standard 6-day work week schedule.
Opportunity to progress to Senior Sales Consultant, Team Leader, or Assistant Sales Manager within 2-4 years based on performance and target achievement.
