This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the spare parts warehouse to ensure seamless availability for the service department. It focuses on maintaining optimal inventory levels, managing procurement cycles, and streamlining the supply chain to reduce vehicle turnaround time in the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end inventory of genuine spare parts and accessories using the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Monitor stock levels daily to identify fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving items to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
- Coordinate with OEM suppliers and local vendors for timely procurement and delivery of parts.
- Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Supervise the receiving process, ensuring all incoming parts are inspected for quality, quantity, and correct documentation.
- Maintain high standards of warehouse organization, including binning, labeling, and 5S compliance for easy retrieval.
- Generate daily reports on inventory valuation, pending orders, and parts fulfillment rates for the Service Manager.
- Ensure strict adherence to GST documentation, gate passes, and warranty return protocols for defective parts.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in spare parts management within an authorized automotive dealership.
- Hands-on experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) like Autoline, Pentana, or SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and inventory reporting.
- Strong understanding of automotive components and technical specifications.
- Ability to manage a team of store assistants and helpers effectively.
- Knowledge of local language for vendor coordination and English for official documentation.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, or Mahindra dealerships.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or 5S principles in a warehouse environment.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.

Work Environment
On-site role at an authorized service center; standard 6-day work week; shift timings usually 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
