This role involves initiating telephonic contact with prospective customers to generate high-quality sales leads and drive showroom walk-ins for the dealership. It focuses on delivering professional first-point communication while effectively promoting vehicle features and current promotional offers to meet monthly sales targets.
Execute outbound calls to potential leads from the dealership database to create interest in new vehicle models and accessories.
Schedule test drives and showroom visits for prospective customers by coordinating with the on-ground sales consultancy team.
Explain vehicle specifications, pricing structures, and ongoing discount schemes clearly to interested callers.
Maintain and update the Dealer Management System (DMS) or CRM with accurate customer details and follow-up schedules.
Handle incoming sales inquiries via phone and web portals, providing immediate assistance and routing to the correct department.
Follow up with cold and warm leads regularly to ensure a high conversion rate from inquiry to appointment.
Liaise with the Finance and Insurance team to provide basic information on EMI options and documentation requirements to customers.
Collect customer feedback and handle initial objections to maintain a positive brand image of the dealership.
Minimum 12th standard pass or Graduate degree in any stream.
Excellent verbal communication skills in the local regional language.
Basic functional knowledge of Hindi or English to handle diverse customer segments.
Strong telephonic etiquette and a persuasive, polite speaking voice.
Ability to handle high-volume calling and meet daily activity targets.
Basic computer literacy for data entry and navigation of internal software.
Prior experience in tele-sales or customer service within the automotive or retail industry.
Familiarity with CRM tools or Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
Residing within a reasonable commuting distance from the showroom location.

Professional dealership office environment, 6 days a week, standard shift timings (usually 10:00 AM - 07:30 PM).
