Engaging with prospective buyers to understand their specific needs and guiding them through the comprehensive vehicle selection and purchase journey. This role focuses on achieving monthly retail targets while maintaining exceptional customer service standards and brand integrity within the showroom environment.
Conduct professional product demonstrations and vehicle walk-arounds to highlight key features and USPs to walk-in customers.
Manage the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation and test drives to final documentation and vehicle delivery.
Utilize Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and CRM tools to track leads, schedule follow-ups, and maintain accurate customer records.
Coordinate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) department to assist customers with loan processing and insurance requirements.
Execute proactive lead generation activities including corporate visits, local events, and digital inquiry management.
Promote and sell value-added services such as extended warranties, genuine accessories, and annual maintenance contracts.
Ensure the showroom floor and display vehicles meet OEM standards for cleanliness and presentation at all times.
Maintain consistent post-delivery engagement to ensure customer satisfaction and build a pipeline for referral business.
Any Graduate degree from a recognized university.
3-5 years of proven experience in automotive retail or a high-end consumer sales environment.
Valid permanent four-wheeler driving license and proficiency in driving for test demonstrations.
Excellent communication skills in the local language and English.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed monthly sales targets in a high-pressure environment.
Strong understanding of automotive features, technology, and financing options.
Prior experience working with an authorized OEM dealership.
Certification in OEM-specific sales training programs.
Familiarity with digital marketing and social media lead generation.
Knowledge of local RTO regulations and registration processes.
CRM Software Proficiency, Dealer Management System (DMS), Microsoft Office Suite, Automotive Technical Knowledge, Financial Calculation (EMI/ROI)

Education: Graduate in any discipline (B.Com, BBA, or B.Sc preferred)
Experience: 3 to 5 years in Automotive Sales or Premium Retail
Certifications: Test Drive Certification (preferred), IRDA Certification (optional)
Standard dealership environment with 6-day work weeks. Requires active presence on the showroom floor and occasional travel for outdoor marketing activities and home test drives.
High-performing consultants can transition into Senior Sales Consultant or Team Leader roles within 18-24 months, with further paths toward Assistant Sales Manager and Sales Manager positions.
