This role is responsible for maintaining the digital backbone of the dealership by managing the Dealer Management System (DMS) and ensuring data accuracy across sales and service departments. It involves generating critical MIS reports and coordinating with OEM platforms to streamline operational workflows and support management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the Dealer Management System (DMS) with real-time data from sales, service, and spare parts departments.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management review, focusing on sales targets, service productivity, and inventory turnover.
- Manage vehicle inventory data, including stock-in, stock-out, and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) status updates.
- Coordinate with the RTO and insurance departments to ensure all digital records for vehicle registration and insurance policies are accurately captured.
- Handle data uploads to the OEM portal and ensure compliance with brand-specific reporting standards and data security protocols.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues within the dealership network to ensure zero operational downtime.
- Maintain regular backups of critical financial and operational data to prevent loss and ensure business continuity.
- Assist the accounts team in reconciling digital transaction records with physical documentation for GST and audit compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in data processing or MIS reporting, preferably within the automotive industry.
- High proficiency in Advanced MS Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas.
- Proven experience working with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as Autoline, SAP, or OEM-specific software.
- Excellent typing speed (minimum 30 WPM) with a high degree of accuracy.
- Basic understanding of IT hardware, networking, and software installation.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret raw data into meaningful business insights.
Preferred
- Familiarity with Tally Prime or similar accounting software for data reconciliation.
- Knowledge of GST billing processes and RTO documentation requirements.
- Previous experience working in an authorized OEM dealership environment (Car/Two-wheeler).

Qualifications
Education: Graduate (B.Com, BCA, or B.Sc) or Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA).
Experience: 1 to 3 years in EDP, Data Entry, or MIS roles.
Certifications: MS Office Certification, Diploma in Information Technology (optional)
Work Environment
Standard dealership environment with a 6-day work week. Typically 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift. On-site presence is required.
