This role involves overseeing the end-to-end human resources function, ensuring seamless talent acquisition and retention strategies that align with dealership productivity goals. The focus is on maintaining high standards of employee engagement and statutory compliance while fostering a high-performance culture across sales and service departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for sales, service, and technical roles to meet dealership manpower requirements as per OEM standards.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Indian Labour Laws, including PF, ESI, Gratuity, and Professional Tax filings and documentation.
- Oversee payroll administration, leave management, and attendance tracking using DMS and HRMS platforms.
- Coordinate with OEM training departments to ensure all staff meet mandatory certification and periodic skill-upgradation requirements.
- Implement and manage the Performance Management System (PMS), facilitating annual appraisal cycles and KRA setting for all departments.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and domestic inquiries in accordance with company policy and legal guidelines.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and Rewards & Recognition (R&R) programs to improve morale and reduce staff attrition.
- Maintain updated personnel records and manage the complete onboarding and offboarding lifecycle efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HR management within the Indian automotive dealership or manufacturing sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Indian Labour Laws and regional statutory compliance requirements.
- Expertise in handling high-volume recruitment for front-line sales and technical workshop staff.
- Proficiency in using HRMS software and advanced Microsoft Excel for reporting.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing and income tax declarations for employees.
- Fluency in English and the local regional language to effectively communicate across all levels.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with major automotive OEMs such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, or Mahindra.
- Exposure to Industrial Relations (IR) and handling workshop-level labor issues.
- Certification in HR Analytics or Strategic Human Resource Management.

Qualifications
