This entry-level role involves performing routine vehicle maintenance and basic mechanical repairs under the guidance of senior technicians. It serves as a foundational position for individuals looking to build a long-term technical career within a leading automotive service network.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform periodic maintenance services (PMS) including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-ups according to OEM standards.
- Assist senior technicians in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using basic diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
- Execute minor repairs on braking systems, suspension components, and engine peripherals under supervision.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the assigned workshop bay and ensure all tools are stored correctly.
- Accurately document all work performed on the job card and report any additional vehicle defects found during inspection.
- Ensure strict adherence to workshop safety protocols and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate actively in technical training programs provided by the company and the OEM to upgrade skill sets.

- Basic understanding of automotive mechanical systems and engine components.
- Ability to handle workshop tools and pneumatic equipment safely.
- Physical fitness and stamina to work in a fast-paced workshop environment.
- Strong commitment to punctuality and discipline in a 6-day work week schedule.
- Willingness to learn new technologies including EV and BS6 systems.
Preferred
- Possession of a valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license.
- Prior internship or apprenticeship experience at an authorized service center.
- Familiarity with digital Dealership Management Systems (DMS) for job card entries.
