Workshop Manager

Workshop Operations: Manage day-to-day workshop activities and ensure smooth workflow from vehicle reception to delivery.

Job Allocation: Plan and allocate repair jobs to Service Advisors, Technicians, and other workshop staff based on workload and skill level.

Productivity Management: Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, utilization, and workshop capacity to achieve business targets.

Quality Control: Ensure repairs are completed correctly and in accordance with OEM/manufacturer standards and workshop SOPs.

Turnaround Time: Monitor vehicle repair progress and ensure vehicles are delivered within the committed TAT.

Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with Service Advisors to resolve technical issues, escalated complaints, and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Team Management: Lead, train, motivate, and evaluate technicians, supervisors, and workshop support staff.

Workshop Revenue: Drive labour revenue, productivity, and overall workshop profitability while controlling operational costs.

Parts & Resource Coordination: Coordinate with the Parts Department to ensure timely availability of parts, tools, and other resources.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to workshop safety standards, environmental requirements, OEM processes, and company policies.

Performance Monitoring: Review workshop KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, labour sales, TAT, rework, CSI, and technician performance.

MIS & Reporting: Prepare and review daily/weekly/monthly workshop performance reports and take corrective actions where required.
