This role involves overseeing daily workshop operations to ensure optimal productivity, vehicle turnaround time, and high customer satisfaction standards. You will lead a technical team to maintain dealership service quality and ensure adherence to OEM guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end workshop operations, including manpower allocation, bay utilization, and resource management.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OEM service protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as First Time Right (FTR) and Customer Satisfaction Score (CSI).
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of technicians, service advisors, and support staff.
- Maintain workshop tools and equipment in accordance with safety and maintenance schedules.
- Resolve complex technical escalations and manage customer grievances effectively.
- Oversee inventory management of spare parts and lubricants to ensure optimal availability.
- Coordinate with the sales and front-office departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing automotive workshop operations.
- Strong understanding of DMS (Dealer Management Systems) and service documentation.
- Ability to lead a diverse team of technical and non-technical staff.
- Proficiency in local language and professional communication in English.
- In-depth knowledge of automobile systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Valid driving license for four-wheelers.
Preferred
- Experience with luxury or high-volume brand dealerships.
- Prior experience in handling warranty claims and OEM audits.
- Knowledge of EV powertrain maintenance and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Work Environment
On-site at an authorized dealership workshop, 6 days a week, typically 9 AM to 6 PM with rotational shifts if required.
