This role focuses on facilitating the procurement and sale of pre-owned vehicles through a transparent evaluation process. It involves managing the end-to-end customer journey from vehicle exchange to the final delivery of certified pre-owned cars while ensuring high standards of service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough 176-point technical evaluations of pre-owned cars to determine fair market value.
- Drive sales of certified pre-owned vehicles by identifying customer needs and providing detailed vehicle history.
- Manage the exchange process for customers looking to upgrade their old vehicles to new models.
- Handle all legal documentation including RTO transfers, insurance renewals, and NOC procurement.
- Perform regular follow-ups with leads generated through digital platforms and walk-ins to maximize conversion.
- Coordinate with the workshop and refurbishment team to ensure vehicles meet OEM certification standards.
- Execute test drives for prospective buyers and explain the benefits of certified warranty and free services.
- Maintain accurate records in the Dealer Management System (DMS) and prepare daily sales reports.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid permanent four-wheeler driving license.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive sales or used car procurement.
- Strong understanding of the local pre-owned car market and pricing trends.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to handle diverse customer profiles.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and basic MS Office applications.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment with a 6-day work week.
Preferred
- Previous experience specifically with Maruti Suzuki True Value or similar OEM pre-owned divisions.
- Basic technical knowledge of car engines and mechanical components.
- Fluency in the local language and English.

Qualifications

Work Environment
This is an on-site role involving both showroom operations and occasional field visits for vehicle evaluations. Standard working hours are 6 days a week, typically 10 AM to 7 PM.
