This role involves engaging with potential automotive customers through proactive outbound calling to qualify leads and generate showroom footfall. The focus is on building initial rapport, identifying customer needs, and driving the sales pipeline through effective communication and appointment scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume outbound calls to prospective customers from provided databases and digital lead sources.
- Explain vehicle specifications, ongoing promotional offers, and exchange schemes to generate interest.
- Schedule and confirm showroom appointments and home test drives for the field sales team.
- Maintain meticulous records of every customer interaction and follow-up status in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Identify and escalate high-intent leads to the Sales Consultants for immediate conversion.
- Conduct follow-up calls with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and solicit referrals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
- Achieve daily and weekly targets for call volume, connectivity, and appointment generation.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in telecalling, inside sales, or customer service roles.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in the local language and functional English.
- Proven ability to handle customer objections and remain persistent in a target-driven environment.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data tracking.
- Strong phone etiquette and the ability to build rapport quickly over a call.
- High school diploma or 12th pass certificate as a minimum educational requirement.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with an authorized automotive dealership or insurance provider.
- Hands-on experience using CRM software or Automotive DMS (e.g., MSIL-DMS, ADP, or similar).
- Formal training in sales techniques or customer relationship management.
