Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid top-ups according to OEM schedules.
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults using advanced computerized diagnostic tools and scanners.
- Execute major repairs on engines, gearboxes, steering, and suspension systems following manufacturer service manuals.
- Ensure all Repair Orders (RO) are accurately updated with parts replaced and labor hours consumed in the DMS.
- Conduct final inspections and road tests to verify that the reported issues are resolved completely.
- Maintain workshop equipment and personal tools in peak condition while ensuring a clean and safe bay area.
- Collaborate with Service Advisors to provide technical explanations and cost estimates for additional repairs found during inspection.
- Strictly adhere to workshop safety protocols and environmental regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in an authorized dealership or a reputed multi-brand service center.
- Proficiency in using pneumatic tools, torque wrenches, and diagnostic scanning equipment.
- Sound knowledge of internal combustion engines, transmission systems, and automotive electronics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical wiring diagrams and service bulletins.
- Physical stamina to work in a workshop environment and handle heavy components.
- Strong commitment to quality and the 'Fixed Right First Time' (FRFT) philosophy.
Preferred
- Valid four-wheeler driving license for vehicle testing purposes.
- Previous experience with major Indian OEMs like Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, or Mahindra.
- Basic understanding of Electric Vehicle (EV) components and high-voltage safety.

Certifications: OEM Technical Certification (Level 1 or 2), Safety Training Certificate
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site role in a high-volume service workshop. Standard working hours are 6 days a week, typically from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
