This role involves performing advanced diagnostics and complex mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles to ensure peak performance and safety. The focus is on maintaining high service standards while mentoring junior technicians to improve overall workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and advanced electrical system troubleshooting using OEM diagnostic tools.
- Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and provide accurate technical assessments to Service Advisors.
- Utilize Dealer Management Systems (DMS) to document all repair work and parts consumption accurately.
- Ensure all workshop activities comply with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Mentor and train junior technicians and apprentices on best practices and specialized repair techniques.
- Identify and resolve intermittent faults that require advanced problem-solving skills and technical research.
- Maintain workshop equipment and tools in excellent condition through regular calibration and care.
- Participate in OEM-led technical training programs to stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and EV systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in an authorized OEM workshop or high-end multi-brand service center.
- Proven expertise in engine diagnostics, suspension systems, and vehicle electronics.
- Proficiency in using OBD-II scanners and brand-specific diagnostic software.
- Deep understanding of BS-VI emission standards and related technical requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a 6-day work week schedule.
- Possession of a valid four-wheeler driving license for testing purposes.
Preferred
- Prior experience with premium or luxury automotive brands.
- Certification in Electric Vehicle (EV) high-voltage safety and repair.
- Experience in leading a small team or sub-section of a workshop.

Work Environment
On-site at an authorized workshop facility, operating 6 days a week with standard 9 AM to 6 PM shifts.
