Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive periodic maintenance services (PMS) and major mechanical repairs according to OEM guidelines.
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults using specialized diagnostic tools and OBD scanners.
- Execute critical component overhauling including engines, gearboxes, and suspension systems with high precision.
- Ensure 'First Time Right' (FTR) quality standards are met to minimize repeat complaints and workshop rework.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the workstation and precision tools in accordance with 5S standards.
- Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and ensure vehicle safety standards are met before customer delivery.
- Accurately document all repair actions, parts consumed, and labor hours within the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Collaborate with Service Advisors to provide technical explanations and cost estimates for additional repairs found during inspection.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in an authorized automotive service center.
- Deep understanding of internal combustion engines (petrol/diesel) and electronic fuel injection systems.
- Proficiency in operating pneumatic tools, hydraulic lifts, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and complex wiring diagrams.
- Possession of a valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for vehicle testing.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with major Indian OEMs such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, or Mahindra.
- Basic knowledge of Electric Vehicle (EV) systems and high-voltage safety protocols.
- Experience with wheel alignment, balancing machinery, and AC recovery units.

Certifications: OEM Level 2 or Level 3 Certification, ASDC (Automotive Skills Development Council) Certification preferred
Work Environment
On-site workshop floor, 6 days a week, typically 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with standard safety gear requirements.
