This role involves executing precise mechanical and electrical repairs on passenger vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer safety. You will be responsible for diagnosing complex issues using advanced OEM tools and maintaining high standards of workshop hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform periodic maintenance services and general repairs as per OEM guidelines and job card instructions
- Conduct diagnostic tests using computerized scanning tools to identify mechanical and electrical malfunctions
- Execute major component overhauls including engine, gearbox, and suspension systems with high precision
- Inspect vehicles for additional required repairs and report findings to the Service Advisor for customer approval
- Maintain all workshop tools, equipment, and diagnostic scanners in good working condition
- Ensure 100% compliance with workshop safety protocols and environmental regulations for waste disposal
- Document all work performed and parts used accurately within the Dealership Management System (DMS)
- Participate in technical training sessions provided by the OEM to stay updated on new vehicle technologies
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in an authorized automobile service center or multi-brand workshop
- Proficiency in using pneumatic tools, torque wrenches, and hydraulic lifts
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, circuit diagrams, and service bulletins
- Sound knowledge of engine components, braking systems, and transmission assemblies
- Valid four-wheeler driving license to perform road tests post-repair
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced workshop environment
Preferred
- Prior experience with premium or luxury car brands
- Specialized training in Electric Vehicle (EV) components and high-voltage safety
- Knowledge of wheel alignment and balancing procedures

Qualifications

Certifications: OEM Technical Certification (Level 1 or 2), Pollution Under Control (PUC) operation certificate (optional)
Work Environment
Standard 6-day work week in a professional workshop setting with modern diagnostic equipment. Shift timings are typically 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
