Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services on a wide range of vehicle makes and models following Bosch quality standards.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic software and hardware to identify and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide detailed technical reports to Service Advisors for customer communication.
• Maintain the workshop environment in compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure service delivery timelines and customer satisfaction targets are met.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, engine management systems, and repair techniques through regular training.
• Mentor junior technicians and assist in troubleshooting difficult technical challenges within the shop.

Requirements

• ITI or Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in an authorized automotive service center or professional workshop.
• Proficiency in using OEM diagnostic scanners, multi-meters, and specialized hand tools.
• Strong understanding of engine systems, transmission, suspension, steering, and braking systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins.
• Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license.

Preferred

• Prior experience specifically with Bosch Car Service or European car brands.
• Certification in EV maintenance or high-voltage safety training.
• Experience with wheel alignment and balancing equipment.
