Job Description

This role involves performing high-quality repairs and maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer safety. You will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues and implementing efficient solutions within a fast-paced workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks according to OEM guidelines.

  • Conduct accurate diagnostic tests using advanced tools to identify electrical and mechanical faults.

  • Execute engine, transmission, and suspension repairs with high precision and attention to detail.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with workshop safety and environmental standards.

  • Document all service actions in the Dealer Management System (DMS) for accurate record-keeping.

  • Collaborate with the Service Advisor to provide clear updates on repair status and estimated completion times.

  • Stay updated on the latest vehicle technology and repair techniques through mandatory brand-specific training modules.

Requirements

  • ITI or Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.

  • Proficiency in using specialized diagnostic tools and equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.

  • Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license.

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a 6-day shift environment.

Preferred

  • Prior experience with authorized dealership workshops.

  • Familiarity with EV battery maintenance and high-voltage safety protocols.

  • OEM-specific certification or training completion.

Qualifications

Work Environment

On-site at a modern, well-equipped automotive workshop. The role follows standard 6-day work weeks with shifts typically spanning 9 AM to 6 PM.
