Job Description

Join our dynamic workshop team to maintain and repair vehicles to the highest OEM standards. You will play a critical role in ensuring customer safety and vehicle performance through precise diagnostic work and efficient mechanical repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform periodic maintenance and routine services as per OEM checklists.
  • Conduct accurate vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Execute repairs related to engine, transmission, suspension, and braking systems.
  • Ensure all work is completed within the estimated time frame to maintain workshop productivity.
  • Document job cards accurately using the Dealer Management System (DMS).
  • Maintain workshop tools and equipment in clean and safe working condition.
  • Coordinate with the Service Advisor to provide regular updates on repair progress.
  • Adhere strictly to 5S methodology and workplace safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Diploma or ITI in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in an authorized automotive workshop.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, scanners, and multi-meters.
  • Sound knowledge of vehicle components and repair procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical service manuals and wiring diagrams.
  • Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license.

Preferred

  • Prior experience with specific OEM training and certifications.
  • Basic understanding of EV technology and high-voltage safety.
  • Experience with modern Dealer Management Systems (DMS) like SAP or Autoline.

Qualifications

Education: ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 1-3 years in an automotive service center

Certifications: Relevant Trade Certificate, OEM Technical Training Modules (Preferred)

Work Environment

Full-time, on-site role in a high-volume workshop environment. 6 days a week working schedule with rotational shifts as per service center operations.
