Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform periodic maintenance, routine servicing, and complex repairs on vehicles as per OEM guidelines.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions accurately.
• Ensure all technical work meets quality standards and safety protocols for customer delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to workshop discipline and 5S methodology.
• Update the Dealer Management System (DMS) with accurate job card details and parts consumption data.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors to provide clear technical explanations and estimated repair timelines for customers.
• Stay updated on technical bulletins and participate in regular training sessions provided by the OEM.

Requirements

• ITI or Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a reputed automotive service center.
• Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic scanners and precision tools.
• Basic understanding of vehicle electrical systems and engine management.
• Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.

Preferred

• OEM-specific training or certification from a recognized brand.
• Experience working with EV (Electric Vehicle) technology or hybrid systems.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
