TECHNICIAN

Join our dynamic workshop team to provide expert mechanical support and ensure the highest standards of vehicle performance. You will be responsible for executing complex repairs, routine maintenance, and diagnostic tasks to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction and vehicle reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and brake inspections as per OEM guidelines.
• Conduct accurate diagnostic testing using specialized scan tools to identify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Repair and replace engine components, suspension systems, transmission parts, and steering assemblies.
• Ensure all work is performed in strict adherence to safety protocols and workshop quality standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation of service history and repairs completed in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
• Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair status, potential issues, and estimated completion times to customers.
• Keep the assigned work bay organized, clean, and equipped with functional tools.

Requirements

• ITI or Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a multi-brand or authorized car workshop.
• Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic scanners and precision hand tools.
• Strong understanding of engine systems, braking, and electrical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and circuit diagrams.
• Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license.

Preferred

• Prior certification from a major automotive OEM.
• Experience with EV maintenance or high-voltage safety training.
• Knowledge of modern vehicle telematics and electronic control units.

Qualifications

Education: ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering

Work Environment

On-site at a modern, well-equipped automotive workshop. The role follows a 6-day work week schedule with standard operating hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Safety gear and uniforms are provided.
