This role focuses on driving a team of sales consultants to meet monthly retail targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction scores and strict adherence to OEM guidelines. It involves mentoring staff, managing the sales funnel, and coordinating with finance and insurance partners to streamline the vehicle delivery process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 8-12 Sales Consultants to achieve monthly retail and enquiry generation targets.
- Monitor daily sales activities, including walk-ins, test drives, and follow-ups through the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Conduct daily morning huddles to review previous day's performance and set focus areas for the current day.
- Assist team members in closing high-value deals and handling complex customer negotiations.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OEM sales processes and maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
- Coordinate with the stockyard and logistics team to ensure timely vehicle allocation and delivery.
- Manage the end-to-end sales funnel from lead generation to post-delivery follow-up.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide actionable feedback to the Sales Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive sales with a proven track record of target achievement.
- Hands-on experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as SAP, MSD, or Oracle.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the local regional language.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and proficiency in conducting professional test drives.
- Strong understanding of the Indian automotive market and consumer behavior.
- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of sales professionals.
- Knowledge of retail finance, insurance, and exchange (pre-owned car) processes.
Preferred
- Experience working with premium or luxury automotive brands.
- Prior experience in handling corporate sales or bulk fleet deals.
- Existing relationships with local bank RMs and insurance providers.

Work Environment
Standard showroom environment with a 6-day work week; requires significant on-floor presence and occasional local travel for field visits, corporate displays, or events.
