This role involves driving high-performance sales strategies and leading a dedicated team of consultants to achieve aggressive retail targets within an authorized dealership. It focuses on optimizing the sales funnel, ensuring OEM compliance, and delivering a premium customer experience from enquiry to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Sales Consultants to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual retail targets.
- Monitor and improve lead conversion ratios across all channels, including digital leads, walk-ins, and field activities.
- Oversee the entire vehicle delivery process to ensure zero-defect handovers and high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
- Collaborate with Finance and Insurance (F&I) teams to maximize in-house funding and insurance penetration.
- Manage showroom floor operations and ensure vehicle inventory is aligned with market demand and OEM allocations.
- Conduct daily performance reviews and provide on-the-job training to the sales team on product knowledge and negotiation.
- Analyze local market trends and competitor pricing to plan effective Below-the-Line (BTL) marketing activities.
- Ensure 100% data integrity within the Dealer Management System (DMS) and CRM platforms.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of core experience in Automotive Sales, preferably in a dealership environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently.
- Hands-on experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) like Autoline, Rev8, or SAP.
- Excellent command over the local language and English.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and a deep understanding of vehicle specifications.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of 5-10 sales professionals.
Preferred
- Experience working with Tier-1 or Premium automotive brands.
- Existing network within local corporate circles or fleet buyers.
- Advanced certification in Sales Management or Relationship Management.
