Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily workshop operations including job card opening, floor management, and ensuring timely vehicle delivery to customers.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OEM standards, service processes, and quality control guidelines across the facility.
- Monitor and optimize workshop profitability through effective labor utilization, spare parts management, and cost-control measures.
- Lead, mentor, and conduct regular training sessions for the service team to upgrade their technical and soft skills.
- Handle escalated customer grievances with empathy and professional resolution to maintain high levels of the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).
- Analyze monthly performance reports and implement data-driven strategies to improve repeat repair ratios and workshop productivity.
- Liaise with OEM representatives for technical support, warranty claims, and the execution of service campaigns or recalls.
Requirements
- Proven track record of managing service operations in a reputed 4-wheeler or 2-wheeler dealership in India.
- In-depth knowledge of Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and standard automotive service processes.
- Strong understanding of modern automotive technical systems, diagnostic procedures, and shop floor safety.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of 20+ members.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and proficiency in the local language as well as English.
- Strong financial acumen to manage workshop P&L and inventory targets.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with premium or luxury automotive brands in the Indian market.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies for workshop efficiency.
- Active participation and recognition in OEM-led skill competitions or national-level service awards.

Qualifications
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering; Diploma holders with exceptional experience will also be considered.
Experience: 5 to 8 years in automotive service operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Certifications: OEM Certified Service Manager, Health & Safety Compliance Certification
