This role is responsible for elevating the performance of our sales force by designing and delivering high-impact training programs. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our dealership teams are equipped with the product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer handling skills required to drive excellence in the competitive Indian automotive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive training modules for sales consultants, focusing on the end-to-end vehicle sales process.
- Conduct regular classroom and on-the-job training sessions on new product launches, features, and competitor benchmarking.
- Identify performance gaps through field visits and mystery shopping, and design remedial training plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through pre- and post-training assessments and sales performance data.
- Drive the implementation of CRM usage and digital sales tools to improve lead conversion rates.
- Coach sales teams on soft skills, objection handling, and premium customer experience standards.
- Maintain up-to-date training collateral, including manuals, digital content, and role-play scripts aligned with OEM guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivering sales training programs, preferably within the automotive or retail sector.
- In-depth understanding of the automotive sales cycle, from lead generation to vehicle delivery.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and the local regional language.
- Ability to travel extensively to various dealership locations to provide on-site training support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel, for training documentation and tracking.
Preferred
- Prior experience in managing or training teams in an authorized car or two-wheeler dealership.
- Familiarity with OEM-specific sales standards and certification processes.
- Experience in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) or digital training platforms.

Qualifications

Certifications: Training and Development certification is an added advantage
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site role requiring 6 days of work per week. The position involves frequent travel across designated dealership regions.
