Job Description

This leadership position involves overseeing the entire showroom sales lifecycle, from lead generation to final vehicle delivery. It focuses on achieving monthly retail targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction scores and strict adherence to OEM brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive monthly sales targets for the dealership by managing and mentoring a team of Sales Consultants and Team Leaders.

  • Monitor and improve the lead conversion ratio across digital, telephonic, and walk-in inquiry channels.

  • Maintain strong relationships with OEM representatives and ensure total compliance with brand identity and sales processes.

  • Oversee inventory management, including stock aging analysis and coordinating with the plant for vehicle ordering.

  • Facilitate seamless coordination between sales, finance, and insurance departments to ensure timely vehicle deliveries.

  • Conduct regular team training sessions on product knowledge, negotiation techniques, and Dealer Management System (DMS) usage.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to develop and execute effective local marketing and sales strategies.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for the senior management and OEM partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in automotive sales with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • In-depth knowledge of Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and CRM software.

  • Strong understanding of the local automotive market and retail finance processes.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding volume and value targets.

  • Excellent command over the local language and English.

  • Valid four-wheeler driving license.

Preferred

  • Prior experience managing a dealership for a major OEM (Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, etc.).

  • Experience in handling high-value luxury vehicle segments or large commercial vehicle fleets.

  • Existing network with local banks and NBFCs for vehicle financing.
