This position oversees the entire sales operations, driving dealership profitability and market share growth through strategic team leadership. The incumbent will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with OEMs and ensuring a premium customer experience across the sales lifecycle.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual vehicle sales targets.
Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team, including Sales Consultants and Team Leaders, to ensure high performance and service standards.
Monitor dealership P&L, manage inventory turnover, and ensure optimal utilization of demo vehicles.
Maintain strong coordination with OEM regional offices for stock allocation, scheme communication, and incentive programs.
Oversee the customer journey from inquiry generation to vehicle delivery, ensuring high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to formulate effective local marketing and sales strategies.
Ensure strict compliance with company policies, RTO documentation standards, and showroom operational guidelines.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the automotive industry.
In-depth knowledge of CRM systems and automotive sales processes.
Excellent understanding of vehicle financing, insurance products, and RTO procedures.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of 10-20 staff.
Proficiency in local language and professional English.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Prior experience managing a multi-brand or premium automotive dealership.
Established network within the regional automotive market.
Exposure to digital lead management and social media lead conversion.
DMS (Dealer Management System) proficiency, Financial analysis and P&L management, Automotive market forecasting, CRM tool management, Compliance and regulatory knowledge
Strategic decision making, Team leadership and conflict resolution, High-impact negotiation, Result-oriented mindset, Exceptional interpersonal communication
Education: Graduate in any stream; MBA in Marketing or Sales preferred.
Experience: 8+ years of experience in automotive sales with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
Certifications: Relevant OEM-certified sales management training
This is a full-time, on-site role based at the dealership. Working hours are typically 6 days a week, including weekends and public holidays, in line with retail automotive industry standards.
The company offers a clear progression path to Regional Sales Manager, General Manager, or Operations Head roles within our expanding dealer network.
