Job Description

Responsible for driving dealership revenue growth by leading a high-performing sales team and ensuring seamless showroom operations. This role involves strategic planning to meet monthly targets while maintaining high standards of customer service and brand compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Sales Consultants and Team Leaders to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Monitor and optimize the sales funnel using CRM and DMS tools to ensure high lead-to-booking conversion rates.
  • Coordinate with the OEM for inventory planning, scheme implementation, and marketing support.
  • Manage showroom floor operations, ensuring all display vehicles and sales processes adhere to brand standards.
  • Handle customer escalations effectively to maintain a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) score.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to the sales team on product knowledge and soft skills.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to develop local sales strategies and promotional events.
  • Oversee the coordination between sales, finance, and delivery departments for a smooth customer experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive retail sales with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of dealership operations and the Indian automotive market.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the local regional language.
  • Valid four-wheeler driving license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.

Preferred

  • Experience working with Tier-1 or premium automotive brands.
  • Proficiency in using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as Autoline, SAP, or MS Dynamics.
  • Existing network and relationships with local corporate clients and fleet operators.
  • MBA in Marketing or Sales from a recognized institution.

Work Environment

On-site showroom environment, 6-day work week, standard automotive industry hours (9 AM - 7 PM).

Growth Opportunities

High-performing managers are eligible for promotion to General Manager (Sales) or Regional Sales Head positions within the dealership group network.
