This role focuses on driving vehicle sales by identifying prospective customers and guiding them through the entire purchase journey at an authorized dealership. It involves managing the end-to-end sales pipeline, from initial inquiry and product demonstration to final delivery and post-sales follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the complete sales process for new vehicles, ensuring adherence to OEM standards and dealership protocols.
- Conduct professional product demonstrations and organized test drives to highlight vehicle features and performance.
- Manage daily lead updates and customer interactions within the Dealer Management System (DMS) and CRM platforms.
- Coordinate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) team to assist customers with loan documentation and insurance policies.
- Perform outdoor marketing activities, including corporate visits, roadshows, and home visits for lead generation.
- Achieve assigned monthly retail targets, accessories sales, and value-added service penetrations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction (CSI) by maintaining regular communication throughout the booking-to-delivery period.
- Handle customer objections and price negotiations effectively to close deals while maintaining profitability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Graduate) in any discipline from a recognized university.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in automotive sales or high-value retail sales.
- Valid Indian four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting test drives.
- Proficiency in the local regional language and functional English.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional personal presentation.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with an authorized OEM dealership network.
- Working knowledge of automotive Dealer Management Systems (DMS) like Autoline or SAP.
- Certification in Sales or Marketing from a reputed institute.
- Existing knowledge of vehicle insurance and retail finance processes.
