This role involves leading the sales department to achieve revenue targets and expand market share through strategic planning and team mentorship. It focuses on maintaining high standards of showroom operations and fostering strong relationships with both the OEM and financial partners to ensure business profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual volume and revenue targets.
- Manage and mentor a team of Sales Team Leaders and Consultants to drive high performance and professional growth.
- Oversee showroom operations and ensure strict adherence to OEM standards and brand guidelines.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and adjust sales strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with banks, NBFCs, and insurance partners to facilitate smooth F&I operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the service department to ensure timely Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI).
- Handle escalated customer grievances to ensure a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and brand loyalty.
- Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts, performance reports, and P&L statements to the senior management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an authorized automobile dealership (4-wheeler or 2-wheeler).
- In-depth knowledge of the local automotive market and customer demographics.
- Excellent negotiation, closing, and relationship-management skills.
- Proficiency in using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and modern CRM software.
- Strong understanding of automotive financial metrics and P&L management.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and willingness to travel locally for corporate meetings.
Preferred
- Experience working with premium or luxury automotive brands in the Indian market.
- Existing network with corporate clients, fleet operators, and local influencers.
- Familiarity with digital marketing, lead generation tools, and social media sales funnels.

Work Environment
Standard automotive showroom environment; 6 days a week (9 AM - 7 PM); On-site role requiring frequent interaction with customers and floor staff.
