This role involves driving vehicle sales performance and leading a team of consultants to exceed monthly retail targets. It requires a strategic focus on lead conversion, customer experience excellence, and maintaining high standards of dealership operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of sales executives to achieve monthly volume, accessory, and value-added service targets.
- Monitor and manage the end-to-end sales funnel through the Dealer Management System (DMS) and CRM tools.
- Conduct daily morning huddles to review enquiry pipelines, test drive schedules, and pending bookings.
- Assist team members in closing complex negotiations and handling high-value customer objections effectively.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OEM standards regarding product demonstrations, test drive protocols, and showroom hygiene.
- Coordinate with Finance and Insurance (F&I) teams to ensure seamless loan processing and documentation for customers.
- Analyze local market trends and competitor activities to suggest tactical sales promotions and local marketing initiatives.
- Manage the vehicle delivery process to ensure a premium 'Handover' experience for every customer.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales within a reputed dealership or OEM.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding individual and team sales targets.
- Strong command over the local language and English for effective customer communication.
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle specifications, financing options, and insurance products.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and proficiency in conducting professional test drives.
- Ability to work a standard 6-day work week in a high-pressure retail environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and specialized Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
Preferred
- Prior experience in a Team Lead or supervisory role within an automotive showroom.
- Experience handling premium or luxury car segments.
- Strong existing relationships with local corporate clients and bank DSAs.
