Key Responsibilities
- Engage with walk-in customers and digital leads to understand vehicle requirements and offer suitable product recommendations.
- Conduct professional test drives, demonstrating key vehicle features, safety technology, and performance metrics.
- Manage the end-to-end sales documentation process, including KYC verification, loan processing, and insurance coordination.
- Maintain a robust CRM pipeline by conducting regular follow-ups with prospects to ensure high conversion rates.
- Coordinate with the stock and logistics team to ensure timely vehicle delivery and a superior 'delight' experience for the customer.
- Stay updated on competitor pricing, offers, and market trends to provide informed responses to customer queries.
- Participate in off-site promotional events, roadshows, and marketing activities to expand the dealership's market reach.
Requirements
- Proven track record of 3-5 years in automotive sales within a dealership environment.
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle financing, insurance (IRDA compliance), and RTO documentation processes.
- Valid two-wheeler and four-wheeler driving license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in local languages and working knowledge of English for professional communication.
- Ability to thrive in a high-energy, on-site retail environment with a customer-first mindset.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle objections effectively.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with DMS (Dealer Management Systems) like SAP or similar ERPs.
- Existing network and understanding of the local automotive market landscape.
- Certification in sales excellence or advanced automotive product training from an OEM.
