This role involves driving vehicle sales by engaging with potential customers, understanding their requirements, and facilitating the entire sales cycle from lead generation to final delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and facilitate vehicle test drives for prospective customers.
- Generate and manage leads through cold calling, field visits, referrals, and showroom walk-ins.
- Explain vehicle features, technical specifications, and various finance or insurance options to clients.
- Maintain and update customer interactions and lead status daily in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Follow up consistently with potential leads to ensure high conversion rates and customer retention.
- Coordinate with the finance and insurance departments to streamline documentation and loan approvals.
- Execute professional vehicle delivery ceremonies to ensure a premium customer experience.
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales volume targets along with accessory and value-added service goals.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of proven experience in automotive sales or high-value retail sales.
- Valid Indian four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting test drives.
- Fluency in the local regional language and functional proficiency in English.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional grooming standard.
- Ability to work a 6-day week, including weekends and public holidays.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with an authorized OEM dealership (e.g., Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors).
- Familiarity with CRM software or automotive DMS platforms like Autoline or SAP.
- Basic understanding of motor insurance (IRDA) and automotive retail finance processes.
