Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with walk-in customers and digital leads to understand their automotive needs and preferences.
- Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and organized test drives while adhering to safety protocols and brand standards.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including price negotiations, financing options, and insurance coordination.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in the Dealer Management System (DMS) to track lead progress and follow-up schedules.
- Collaborate with the workshop and stockyard teams to ensure vehicles are prepped for timely and flawless delivery to customers.
- Execute post-delivery follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage referrals and repeat business.
- Participate in outdoor promotional activities, corporate displays, and roadshows to generate new leads.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of proven experience in retail sales, specifically within the Indian automotive sector.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and proficiency in driving manual and automatic vehicles.
- Strong command over the local language and functional proficiency in English.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly retail sales targets.
- Deep understanding of the local automotive market, competitor models, and pricing strategies.
- Availability to work 6 days a week in a high-energy showroom environment.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with a Tier-1 or Tier-2 OEM dealership.
- Familiarity with automotive financing processes and IRDA insurance regulations.
- Experience using CRM software like Salesforce or proprietary OEM DMS tools.
