This role focuses on driving retail volume by managing the end-to-end customer journey from initial inquiry to final vehicle delivery. It involves maintaining a robust sales pipeline through proactive lead generation and delivering high-quality product demonstrations that align with customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage showroom walk-ins and digital leads to convert prospects into confirmed bookings.
- Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and organized test drives while explaining technical features and USPs.
- Handle the complete documentation process including booking forms, RTO paperwork, and insurance coordination.
- Coordinate with the finance department to facilitate vehicle loans and ensure timely payment collection.
- Maintain and update the Dealer Management System (DMS) daily with accurate lead status and follow-up remarks.
- Achieve monthly retail targets and value-added service goals including accessories, extended warranty, and AMC.
- Perform post-delivery follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and generate referrals.
- Participate in outdoor marketing activities, canopy events, and corporate displays to increase brand visibility.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably within the automotive or white goods sector.
- Valid Indian Four-Wheeler Driving License is mandatory for conducting test drives.
- Fluency in the local regional language and functional knowledge of English.
- Strong understanding of the local automotive market and competitor offerings.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment with a 6-day work week.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to handle diverse customer profiles.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with a reputed OEM authorized dealership.
- Familiarity with automotive CRM software or Lead Management Systems.
- Knowledge of vehicle insurance (IRDA norms) and retail finance processes.
