Job Description

This role involves driving vehicle sales by building strong relationships with prospective customers and guiding them through the entire purchasing journey. It focuses on managing the end-to-end sales process from initial inquiry to final delivery while ensuring a premium showroom experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage showroom walk-ins and provide detailed product demonstrations to prospective buyers.

  • Generate new leads through cold calling, field visits, and digital inquiries to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

  • Conduct professional test drives while explaining vehicle features, safety standards, and performance metrics.

  • Coordinate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) department to facilitate loan processing and insurance documentation.

  • Perform regular follow-ups with potential leads via phone and email to maximize conversion rates.

  • Ensure timely delivery of vehicles and provide a thorough post-sale orientation to new owners.

  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and sales activities in the Dealer Management System (DMS).

Requirements

  • Minimum 12th pass or Graduate in any stream from a recognized board or university.

  • Valid two-wheeler driving license is mandatory for field visits and customer meetings.

  • Proficiency in the local language and a working knowledge of English for professional communication.

  • Willingness to work on-site in a fast-paced retail environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.

  • Ability to work a 6-day week including weekends.

Preferred

  • Basic knowledge of automotive trends and technical specifications.

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles.

  • Familiarity with digital tools and basic computer applications like MS Excel.

  • Resident of the local area for ease of commute and local market knowledge.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site role based at the dealership showroom, following a standard 6-day work week with rotational offs. The role involves both indoor showroom duties and outdoor field visits for customer meetings.

Growth Opportunities

High-performing executives can progress to Senior Sales Consultant, Team Leader, or Assistant Sales Manager roles within 2-4 years based on performance and target achievement.
