This role involves driving revenue growth by managing the end-to-end customer journey from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery. It focuses on delivering premium consultative experiences, building long-term client relationships, and ensuring the dealership meets its monthly volume and value objectives through proactive lead management.
Manage showroom walk-ins and digital leads to convert potential prospects into confirmed vehicle bookings.
Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and organized test drives while adhering to safety protocols and brand standards.
Coordinate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) department to provide customers with customized loan and insurance solutions.
Maintain meticulous records in the Dealer Management System (DMS) and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool daily.
Facilitate the vehicle delivery process, ensuring all documentation, accessories, and pre-delivery inspections (PDI) are completed accurately.
Execute field activities, including home visits, corporate displays, and local marketing events to generate new leads.
Achieve monthly sales targets for vehicles, extended warranties, and value-added services (VAS).
Follow up with customers post-delivery to ensure satisfaction and solicit referrals for future business.
3 to 5 years of proven experience in automotive retail sales or high-value consumer durables.
Valid permanent four-wheeler driving license with a clean driving record.
Fluency in the local regional language and professional proficiency in English.
Strong understanding of the Indian automotive market and competitor landscape.
Proficiency in using CRM software and basic Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent negotiation and closing skills with a customer-centric approach.
Experience working with a major OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) authorized dealership.
Prior training in luxury or premium sales consultative techniques.
Existing network of corporate clients or local business influencers.
Familiarity with automotive financing processes and IRDA guidelines.
