This role involves driving vehicle sales by providing exceptional product demonstrations and personalized consultation to prospective buyers. It focuses on managing the end-to-end customer journey from initial enquiry to final delivery while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage walk-in customers and digital leads to achieve monthly sales volume and value targets.
- Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and organized test drives according to OEM standards.
- Explain financing options, insurance products, and value-added services to provide a comprehensive purchase solution.
- Maintain accurate and timely data entry in the Dealer Management System (DMS) and CRM modules.
- Coordinate with the stockyard and PDI team to ensure timely vehicle preparation and delivery.
- Facilitate the documentation process for vehicle registration, financing, and insurance.
- Perform proactive follow-ups with prospective leads and maintain post-delivery relationships for referrals.
- Participate in outdoor promotional activities, corporate displays, and local marketing events.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably within the automotive or high-value retail sector.
- A valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting test drives.
- Fluency in the local regional language and a working knowledge of English.
- Proficiency in using smartphone-based CRM applications and basic computer operations.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle customer objections effectively.
- Excellent personal grooming and professional etiquette suitable for a showroom environment.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with a reputed Automotive OEM dealership.
- Knowledge of retail finance and insurance processes in the Indian market.
- Existing network of corporate clients or local influencers.
