This role involves driving dealership growth by managing the end-to-end customer journey from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery. It focuses on providing expert product demonstrations and personalized consultations to help customers choose the right vehicle while meeting monthly retail targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet walk-in customers and handle telephonic inquiries professionally to understand their vehicle requirements.
- Conduct detailed product walkthroughs and facilitate test drives while adhering to safety protocols.
- Manage the lead lifecycle using the Dealer Management System (DMS) to ensure timely follow-ups and high conversion rates.
- Coordinate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) team to assist customers with loan documentation and insurance policies.
- Execute the vehicle delivery process, including pre-delivery inspections and ceremonial handovers to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Participate in outdoor promotional activities, roadshows, and corporate displays to generate new leads.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor products, market trends, and OEM schemes.
- Achieve monthly targets for retail sales, accessories, and value-added services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (B.A., B.Com, B.Sc, BBA).
- Valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
- Fluency in the local language and functional English communication.
- Willingness to work in a target-driven retail environment.
- Basic proficiency in using smartphones and computer applications.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Preferred
- Previous experience or internship in retail sales or customer service.
- Familiarity with automotive CRM or DMS software.
- Residence within a 10-15 km radius of the showroom location.
- Knowledge of basic automobile mechanics and features.
