This role involves managing the end-to-end vehicle purchase journey for customers by providing expert product demonstrations and personalized consultations. It focuses on achieving monthly sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and brand representation within the showroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation and enquiry handling to final vehicle delivery.
- Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and accompanied test drives to showcase features and performance.
- Utilize the Dealer Management System (DMS) to track customer interactions, bookings, and documentation accurately.
- Collaborate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) team to provide customers with loan options and insurance quotes.
- Achieve monthly retail targets for new vehicles, accessories, and extended warranties.
- Execute proactive follow-ups with prospective leads through calls, emails, and home visits.
- Ensure the showroom floor and display vehicles are maintained according to OEM corporate identity standards.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve the overall buying experience and post-purchase satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized Indian university.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive sales or high-value retail environments.
- Proficiency in the local regional language and functional English.
- Strong computer literacy with experience in CRM or DMS software.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Preferred
- Previous experience with a Tier-1 or Tier-2 automotive OEM dealership.
- Knowledge of automotive finance processes and RTO documentation.
- Certification in sales or customer relationship management.
