This role focuses on driving vehicle sales by understanding customer needs and providing expert product demonstrations at an authorized dealership. It involves managing the end-to-end customer journey from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery while maintaining high standards of service and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct professional vehicle walkarounds and test drives to showcase product features and USPs.
- Manage the entire sales funnel from lead generation and inquiry handling to final vehicle delivery.
- Advise customers on financing options, insurance, and exchange programs (Used Car/Exchange) to provide a one-stop solution.
- Maintain and update the Dealer Management System (DMS) daily with accurate lead status and customer interactions.
- Coordinate with the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and workshop teams to ensure vehicles are ready for scheduled delivery.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly retail targets as defined by the dealership management.
- Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and solicit referrals for future business.
- Participate in outdoor marketing activities, corporate displays, and roadshows to generate new prospects.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive retail sales.
- Valid permanent four-wheeler driving license with a clean record.
- Graduate degree in any stream (B.Com, B.A., B.Sc., or B.B.A.).
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in local language and functional English communication.
Preferred
- OEM-specific sales certification from a reputed brand.
- Hands-on experience with automotive CRM or DMS software like Autoline or SAP.
- Familiarity with local RTO processes and insurance documentation.
- Previous experience in premium or luxury car segments.
