This role involves managing the end-to-end customer journey from initial inquiry to final vehicle delivery within an authorized dealership environment. The successful candidate will act as a brand ambassador, providing expert guidance on vehicle features, financing options, and ownership benefits to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with walk-in customers and digital leads to understand their vehicle requirements and budget.
- Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives while highlighting key USPs and technical specifications.
- Manage the complete sales pipeline within the Dealer Management System (DMS) ensuring accurate data entry.
- Coordinate with the finance and insurance team to offer competitive loan products and value-added services to customers.
- Perform diligent follow-ups with prospects to ensure a seamless conversion process.
- Ensure timely documentation and compliance with RTO registration procedures and vehicle delivery protocols.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction scores (CSI) through personalized post-sales engagement.
- Participate in off-site promotional events, corporate visits, and vehicle display activities as required.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of proven experience in automotive retail sales or a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong understanding of the local automotive market and competitor product lines.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment with a focus on achieving monthly sales volumes.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English and the regional language.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and basic MS Office tools.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with a major OEM dealership network.
- Certified in standard automotive sales training programs.
- Existing network of corporate or retail prospects in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

Work Environment
This is an on-site role based at the dealership showroom. The work environment is fast-paced and professional, involving a 6-day work week with rotational off-days.
