The role focuses on driving vehicle retail volumes by providing an exceptional end-to-end purchasing experience for prospective buyers. It involves proactive lead management, conducting professional product demonstrations, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction to build a loyal client base for the dealership.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable vehicle models and variants
- Conduct professional test drives while explaining technical features, safety aspects, and performance benchmarks
- Generate and follow up on leads through cold calling, digital inquiries, and outdoor promotional activities
- Handle the complete sales documentation process including booking forms, RTO requirements, and loan applications
- Collaborate with the Finance and Insurance teams to offer comprehensive value-added packages to customers
- Maintain and update the Dealer Management System (DMS) and CRM with accurate customer interaction data
- Coordinate with the stockyard and PDI team to ensure timely and error-free vehicle delivery
- Conduct post-delivery follow-ups to seek referrals and ensure long-term brand loyalty
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (B.Com, BBA, B.A., etc.)
- 1 to 3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in the automotive or insurance sector
- Valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting test drives
- Excellent command over the local language and functional proficiency in English
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a target-oriented mindset
- Willingness to work 6 days a week and participate in weekend showroom events
Preferred
- Prior experience with an authorized OEM dealership (Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, etc.)
- Certification in Sales or Customer Relationship Management
- Working knowledge of automotive finance and RTO regulations
