Job Description

This role involves driving vehicle sales by building strong connections with prospective buyers and ensuring a seamless purchase journey from inquiry to delivery. The focus is on achieving individual volume targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction standards and promoting value-added services like insurance and finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end sales process for walk-in customers and digital leads within the dealership.

  • Conduct professional product demonstrations and facilitate test drives following OEM safety protocols.

  • Address customer queries regarding vehicle features, technical specifications, and pricing structures.

  • Coordinate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) department to provide comprehensive ownership solutions to clients.

  • Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions and lead statuses in the Dealer Management System (DMS).

  • Execute post-delivery follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and generate referrals for future business.

  • Participate in outdoor promotional activities, corporate displays, and local marketing events to expand the customer base.

  • Ensure the showroom display area and test drive vehicles are maintained according to brand standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in automotive sales or high-value retail environments.

  • A valid Indian four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting test drives.

  • Fluency in the local regional language and functional proficiency in English.

  • Strong understanding of the Indian automotive market and current consumer trends.

  • Ability to work a 6-day week including weekends and public holidays.

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and mobile-based CRM tools.

Preferred

  • Prior experience working with an authorized OEM dealership network.

  • Existing knowledge of vehicle financing processes and insurance documentation.

  • Certification in sales or customer service from a recognized institute.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream (B.Com, BBA, or B.Sc. preferred).

Experience: 1-3 years in Sales or Customer Relations.

Certifications: OEM Sales Process Certification (preferred), Soft Skills Training Certificate

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site role based at the dealership showroom. It requires active movement, interaction with various departments, and occasional travel for home visits or corporate events. Standard working hours apply with a 6-day work week.
