This role involves performing high-quality vehicle repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure peak performance and safety for all customer vehicles. The focus is on precise diagnostic troubleshooting and the efficient execution of mechanical tasks within an authorized dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-ups according to OEM standards.
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic scanners and manual inspection techniques.
- Execute major and minor repairs on engines, transmissions, braking systems, and suspension components.
- Conduct thorough test drives to verify repair quality and ensure all safety parameters are met.
- Document all work performed, parts used, and technical observations clearly in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation while ensuring all specialized workshop tools are handled with care.
- Collaborate with the Service Advisor to provide accurate repair estimates and timelines for customers.
- Adhere strictly to workshop safety protocols and environmental regulations regarding waste disposal.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanic in an authorized automobile service center.
- In-depth knowledge of internal combustion engines and vehicle subsystems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and specialized workshop equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license with a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of a fast-paced workshop environment.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, or Mahindra brands.
- Knowledge of Electric Vehicle (EV) components and basic high-voltage safety.
- Resident of the local area or willing to relocate for on-site duties.

Work Environment
The role is based on-site at an authorized workshop. Standard working hours are 6 days a week, typically from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, requiring physical activity and exposure to typical garage conditions.
