This role focuses on driving retail growth and managing a high-performing team of sales consultants within a fast-paced dealership environment. It involves overseeing the end-to-end sales lifecycle, from lead generation to vehicle delivery, while ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction and brand compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 10-12 Sales Consultants to achieve monthly and quarterly retail targets.
- Monitor and analyze the sales funnel through the Dealer Management System (DMS) to improve lead conversion ratios.
- Oversee the test drive process, ensuring vehicle availability and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with Finance and Insurance (F&I) teams to provide comprehensive solutions to customers and expedite loan approvals.
- Conduct daily morning huddles to review pipelines, address bottlenecks, and provide tactical coaching to the team.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OEM guidelines regarding showroom hygiene, product presentation, and documentation.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the stockyard for timely vehicle allocation and delivery.
- Handle escalated customer grievances and ensure a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) score.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales with a proven track record of target achievement.
- In-depth knowledge of the local automotive market and competitor landscape.
- Proficiency in using automotive CRM or DMS software (e.g., Autoline, Revamp, or SAP).
- Valid four-wheeler driving license with a clean driving record.
- Strong command over English and the local regional language.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Preferred
- Prior experience as a Team Lead or Senior Sales Consultant in an OEM dealership.
- Familiarity with digital lead management and social media sales tools.
- Basic understanding of P&L management and dealership operations.
