This role involves managing the end-to-end insurance process for new and existing vehicle owners, ensuring high renewal rates and seamless claim coordination. The focus is on driving revenue through policy sales and providing expert guidance on add-on covers to enhance customer protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the issuance of new vehicle insurance policies and ensure timely renewal of existing policies for dealership customers.
- Educate customers on various insurance products, including comprehensive coverage and critical add-ons like Zero Depreciation and Return to Invoice (RTI).
- Coordinate with insurance company surveyors and workshop teams to facilitate smooth and quick claim settlements for customers.
- Maintain meticulous records of all policies, premiums, and commissions in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Execute proactive follow-up calls and reminders to customers to achieve monthly renewal targets.
- Collect and verify necessary KYC documents and ensure 100% compliance with IRDA regulations.
- Generate daily and weekly reports on insurance penetration, premium collection, and pending renewals for management review.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in any stream (B.Com or BBA preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data management.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle customer grievances professionally.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail in documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-oriented dealership environment.
Preferred
- Valid IRDA certification for General Insurance.
- Prior internship or experience in an automotive dealership or insurance brokerage.
- Familiarity with various insurance portals and claim processing workflows.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site role at an authorized automotive dealership. Standard working hours are 6 days a week, typically from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, including some weekends during peak delivery periods.
Growth Opportunities
