Inshurance Executive

This role is responsible for driving the sales of vehicle insurance policies and value-added financial products within the dealership network. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers to ensure comprehensive protection for their vehicles while achieving dealership revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively approach customers at the point of vehicle delivery to explain and sell motor insurance policies.
• Manage the complete insurance documentation process, including policy issuance and renewal tracking.
• Maintain high conversion rates by effectively explaining the benefits of dealership-backed insurance versus external options.
• Coordinate with insurance partners and internal finance teams to ensure seamless policy processing.
• Resolve customer queries regarding insurance claims, policy coverage, and premium calculations.
• Maintain an accurate database of policy renewals and contact customers well in advance for retention.
• Ensure 100% compliance with IRDAI regulations and dealership sales protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in insurance sales, preferably within the automotive or financial sector.
• In-depth knowledge of motor insurance products and policy structures.
• Strong communication skills in English and the local regional language.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, target-driven sales environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and DMS software.
• Availability to work 6 days a week on-site at the dealership.

Preferred

• Prior experience working with authorized automobile dealerships.
• Existing network or database of potential clients.
• Understanding of vehicle finance and loan documentation.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate in any stream (B.Com preferred).

Experience: 1-4 years of experience in insurance sales or retail finance.

Certifications: Valid IRDAI license (or willingness to obtain one immediately).

Work Environment

On-site at the dealership showroom. The role involves standing for extended periods and interacting with walk-in customers in a fast-paced environment.
