This role focuses on driving vehicle sales by engaging with walk-in customers and generating new leads through proactive outreach. The individual will be responsible for managing the entire customer journey from initial inquiry to final vehicle delivery, ensuring high satisfaction levels and achievement of monthly volume targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle showroom walk-ins and provide detailed product demonstrations and feature explanations to prospective buyers.
- Conduct professional test drives while adhering to safety protocols and highlighting vehicle performance and safety features.
- Generate and track leads through cold calling, field visits, and digital inquiries to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Coordinate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) team to assist customers with loan documentation and insurance renewals.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and sales stages in the Dealership Management System (DMS).
- Ensure timely follow-ups with potential leads and post-delivery follow-ups to build long-term customer relationships.
- Participate in outdoor marketing activities, corporate displays, and promotional events to increase brand visibility.
- Manage the vehicle delivery process, ensuring all documentation is complete and the customer experience is celebratory and smooth.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably within the automotive or consumer durable industry.
- Must possess a valid permanent two-wheeler and/or four-wheeler driving license.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in the local language and a working knowledge of English.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
- Willingness to work 6 days a week, including weekends and public holidays.
- Professional appearance and a customer-centric mindset.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with an authorized automobile dealership (OEM).
- In-depth knowledge of local geography and customer demographics.
- Experience using CRM or DMS software for lead management.

Work Environment
Standard showroom environment with regular field visits for customer meetings and test drives. Working hours are typically 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 6 days a week.
