This role involves managing the end-to-end customer journey from initial inquiry to final vehicle delivery at an authorized automotive dealership. It focuses on achieving monthly sales targets through proactive lead management and delivering a premium showroom experience to potential buyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting detailed product demonstrations and vehicle walk-arounds to highlight features, safety ratings, and technology.
- Managing the entire sales funnel using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and CRM tools to ensure zero-drop in lead follow-ups.
- Organizing and executing customer test drives while strictly adhering to safety protocols and company-mandated routes.
- Assisting customers with finance and insurance documentation in close coordination with F&I executives to facilitate loan approvals.
- Negotiating price points and closing deals within authorized margins to meet individual and showroom sales targets.
- Ensuring a seamless vehicle delivery process (PDI coordination) and conducting post-delivery satisfaction calls to build long-term loyalty.
- Generating new leads through outdoor marketing activities, corporate displays, and referral programs.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive retail or high-value consumer durable sales.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting customer test drives.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly retail sales targets.
- Fluency in the local regional language and a professional command over English.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and mobile lead management applications.
- Strong understanding of the local automotive market and competitor product positioning.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with OEM-authorized dealerships.
- Certification in professional sales training or brand-specific product programs.
- Knowledge of motor insurance (IRDA) and automotive finance processes.
